Our Work

We visit Schools and other groups to demonstrate that you can suffer serious trauma and thrive with good support.

By telling Baloo’s story it improves the understanding of visible and non-visible disabilities. She is such an affectionate dog but a large powerful breed.

Everyone we meet enjoys the interaction and is inspired by her.

Some of the visits we have done

Thurrock Lifestyle Solutions disabled group

John Bunyan Junior School

Police Cadets

Essex PFCC Youth Emergency Service Day

Essex Fire Service, Firebreak

Through Covid lockdown visits were not possible due to restrictions, however several Facetime calls were carried out with Children who were finding the disruption to their routine hard which had created some anxiety.

Impact of the visits

Improves morale

Encourages discussions around mental health

Spread smiles

Our aim for the fund

To be able to continue our visits and reach a wider audience and have the ability to support projects, organisations or individuals with their mental wellbeing.

This might be through donating equipment like art or gardening supplies to projects, or gifting Baby Baloo’s.
